Caring Bears Committee

The Caring Bears Committee was launched in Fall 2020 as a way to support and/or recognize members of our Beaumont Elementary School community who may have achieved something extraordinary or experienced a significant life event or challenge.

Examples of some of the events the Committee has recognized include: student achievements/awards; family achievements or celebrations; illnesses/injuries/bereavement; and BES staff marriages and babies.

The Committee delivers sweet, stuffed Beaumont Bears to school community members who have experienced one of these life events. The Committee is also working on a pilot-program involving BES 4th grade students who will be able to show support and care for classmates by writing Caring Bears cards to fellow students at card-writing centers organized in the 4th grade classrooms. The Caring Bears look forward to growing their impact on the BES school community in the years to come!
