SUPPORT FOR PATRICK HOEY, SON OF BEAUMONT NURSE, DIANE HOEY
The son of Diane Hoey, one of our wonderful nurses at Beaumont, suffered a traumatic accident at the end of July. Patrick will need extensive care and rehabilitation and he has recently moved to Magee Rehabilitation Hospital in Philadelphia.
In order to bring him some cheer and let the family know we are thinking of them, the Beaumont Caring Bears have organized an initiative to create a “banner of bears” to share well wishes with Patrick.
Attached to this Blast is a template for a bear shape. (ight-click on image to save file). Families can print the template, cut out the bear shape and students can write messages of support and care or draw pictures on the bears for Patrick. We will have a bin set out by the front door at school for people to drop off their completed bears, which we will turn into a banner that will be delivered to Patrick at Magee. If you would like to participate in this project, please have your completed bears turned in to the bin at school by next Friday, August 18th.
Additionally, if you would like to help support Patrick and the Hoey family via monetary donation, please see this link: https://gofund.me/bfa492fb
Thanks Beary much for your support of the Hoey family!!
