The Year In Review...

Beaumont families,

As we approach the end of 2024, the Beaumont HSA would like to thank you so much for your support of our organization, and in turn, supporting our students, teachers, and staff of Beaumont. The HSA plays an important role in supporting our school while building community for Beaumont families throughout the year through events and programming. We can't do it without you and in just four short months, look at the impact we've been able to make!

-- Because of your generosity, the HSA has been able to supply the following items to support our classrooms in 2024:

  • 2 new Teaching Easels
  • 3 cozy reading chairs (4th grade)
  • 3 bins of legos (1st and 2nd grade)
  • 5 globes (3rd grade)
  • 6 rainbow storage carts for teachers (2nd & 3rd grades)
  • 10 dodgeballs for recess
  • 20 new games for 4th grade indoor recess
  • 24 walkie-talkie's for school communication & safety

--Three Cultural Arts Assemblies brought to students - Mother Goose, Helicopter Museum, and Salsa to Samba (totaling $3,595)

--The Beaumont Garden produced 218lbs of food for food pantries in Chester County, with 47% of harvested items going to food pantries in TESD.

--The Cafeteria Composting program was launched the first week of September and has successfully diverted 4,010lbs of food waste from landfills.

--Community Service has run a monthly service project each month with the following results:

  • In September, the 4th graders prepared 65 dress up kits for kids staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities Philadelphia along with over 100 cheer up cards!
  • In October, over 50 costumes were donated to the Halloween Helpers for distribution in Philadelphia schools.
  • In November, the school community donated 210lbs of Halloween Candy and students across the school made over 100 cards for soldiers for care packages through Operation Shoebox.
  • The week of Thanksgiving, 2nd graders helped build 30 grocery bags of pantry stable items for T&E Cares Holiday Drive.

We've been able to support these events and classroom requests through our four Fundraising events - Fall Clubs, Trunk or Treat, Fall Book Fair, Winter Secret Shop, and $2,200 in individual donations. If you'd like to contribute to the amazing work that the HSA is doing to support our school and community, you can make a tax-deductible donation here: Beaumont Elementary HSA - Capital Campaign

The HSA looks forward to continuing strong in 2025 upon our return from the break as we gather together for the Winter Ball, Movie Night and Spring Carnival.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.

Sincerely,

Beaumont HSA
