Homeroom Parents are a vital part of the classroom experience! It provides a great opportunity to get to know your child’s teacher and classmates. We like to have at least two homeroom parents for each class, three max. A drawing will be done if we receive more than three replies per class.
Responsibilities include coordinating classroom parties and holiday, teacher appreciation and end-of-year teacher gifts. Homeroom parents would also be responsible for communicating HSA information to the class and assisting with any teacher requests. New this year will be working with the Caring Bears Committee to help identify families who have a new baby, suffer a loss or other life changes.
We will try to honor all requests…if a parent volunteers for multiple classes (thank you!) we will assign them to the class that has the least amount of volunteers so that all of our bases are covered.
